Angus Stewart is very good. The depth of his knowledge about arcane aspects of the organization is amazing. Not only that he focus's like a laser and is not easily led off track. I am very impressed with this guy!

The judge is trying his best to pin him down on allowing women to be involved in the initial aspects of the case. The judge is starting to get pissed because Jackson keeps dancing around the question

I did it with no long term problems at all. Been out for several years with all my family still in. No one shuns me, not even those in the hall.

First of all you need GAD - Generalized Anxiety Disorder

Then mild depression. That will not be a problem given what you are now learning about everything you have believed your whole life.

Just tell the elders that you would like to step down as a servant for personal reasons. Do not blame the (UN mess, Pedophiles, 1914, false prophecy, the blood issue, Malawi or anything else) Just say it is personal and you are not comfortable right now in large groups of people. If you do it with respect and don't attack them they will be much less likely to attack you in defense.

Don't try to aggressively "convert" your friends or family, that is the way to disaster. Be very very careful of your "online" tracks and history. Instead periodically just raise valid questions that help them think outside of the box. When you make a valid point and they admit it, don't go for the throat. Step back. That way the next time you make a valid point they won't be afraid to admit it again. Eventually they will realize that they don't have the answers and they will not blame you since your questions are sincere and valid. Do not attack! That will get their back up faster than anything else. Also it does not hurt to go to the memorial at least and maybe one or two other meetings per year. That allows them to have "hope" for you. Don't start celebrating holidays etc unless that is more important to you than your family.

That is what worked for me. It worked well. I am not shunned by anyone, if I go to a anniversary party or other "get together" with members of the org everyone is friendly and I have no problems at all. No one expects me to be at Circuit Assemblies or District Assemblies. Last year and the year before I did go on Sunday just to be nice and it was not a big deal. I just slept all afternoon in the AC. : )

Anyway, what I am telling you is that it can be done.

Let me be clear, there are others who will not agree with this method. I am not suggesting that this is the only way or even that this is what you should do. I am simply saying that this worked for me, and if I had it to do again I would do exactly the same thing.

i always sit in the same spot, just outside starbucks in a vestibule area with a table in the air-conditioned space.

i say "always," but not today.. somebody with two laptops and a table filled with business ledgers was in "my" favorite spot!.

so, i took a tiny wooden table inside the coffee shop on a long padded bench next to 3 other identical tables.. as the clickbait banner ads like to say: "and what happened next was simply unbelievable!".

mr. jackson, we have heard testimony from mr spinks and mr. obrien that women will never have leadership positions in the congregation.

as i understand it mr. jackson, you interpret revelation 7 to mean that only 144,000 will go to heaven and that these 144,000 will rule the earth.

i also understand that your organization teaches that women are part of this "remnant" of 144,000. can you explain why jesus christ is willing to put women in leadership over the entire earth but you are not willing to permit them to have anything to do with helping victims of pedophiles in your congregation?

onthewayout I agree with you the RC has touched on theology but have focused on the problem areas in the JW church. I don't think His worship, will be to interested in talking about the 144000 or in other theology.

I don't bring it up only as a question of theology. Mr. McLellen focused on having women be part of the process. According to the both Spinks and OBrian that was going to be a NO-GO. They are not suited to sit in judgement. I just thought that they might have a hard time explaining Jesus Christ supposedly chose women to sit in judgement (and execute judgment) on the entire earth but they wont allow a woman in the organization to be of help with this.

It is clearly called for to help minimize the trauma on the poor girls that are be subjected not only to the abuse of the pedophiles but then to have to go through sharing intimate details of the abuse with men, men who are likely friends with the abuser. It is a messed up situation and anyone should be able to see that.

I for one would like to see Jackson explain why that will not be the case - and you know they will NEVER allow that.

earlier this morning the royal commission website stated:.

"the royal commissions public hearing into the jehovahs witnesses will recommence in sydney on friday 14 august 2015 at 11:00am.. it is anticipated that the hearing will hear from one witness, mr geoffrey jackson, a member of the governing body of jehovahs witnesses.

"now that has been changed.

Does anyone have a screen capture from this morning of when he was scheduled to appear at 11:00 on Friday? I would love to have that if anyone had the foresight to capture it before they removed it from the site.
